Consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan city of Russian Federation Guych Garayev held a meeting with President of the Astrakhan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tatyana Shateyeva on Thursday, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reports.

According to the report, the parties considered issues of the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, including at the level of business circles. The sides also discussed the holding of an online meeting of the Turkmen-Astrakhan Business Council on Entrepreneurship.

Shateyeva noted the interest of the Astrakhan side in the import of textile and other industrial products of Turkmen production and in the export flour products and grain crops to Turkmenistan.

Diversification of the dialogue with the Astrakhan oblast is one of the vectors of strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Russia, Garayev noted.
