A meeting of transport ministers and heads of delegations was held as part of the 8th “New Silk Way” International Transport and Logistics Business Forum in Astana.
Sea-news.az reports citing the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan, the session titled “Action Coordination, Institutionality, and Digitalization” focused on enhancing the efficiency of global supply chains, coordinating infrastructure plans, and removing border-crossing bottlenecks through digital integration.
Deputy Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan Zhanibek Taizhanov underscored the importance of implementing digital solutions to facilitate seamless cross-border freight transport. Azerbaijan was represented at the event by Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Javid Gurbanov.
