The Naval Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the elite branch of Iran’s Armed Forces, announced that it struck a large-capacity liquefied gas tanker attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz.
Sea-news.az citing the IRNA news agency, that the IRGC stated in an official announcement:
“A few hours ago, the large-capacity tanker ‘MT Sunshine,’ designed for transporting liquefied gas, was struck while attempting to navigate an illegal route in the southern waters of the Strait of Hormuz.”
