Three United Arab Emirates (UAE) tankers, reported to have violated maritime navigation rules in the Strait of Hormuz, have been attacked.
Sea-news.az reports that this was announced by Iran’s Gulf Affairs Authority.
It was stated that the tankers “AL RUWAIS”, “SINBAD”, and “MERSIN PROSPERITY” had attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz several times over the past two months and were placed on the list of non-compliant vessels.
It was noted that vessels included in this list could face fines, detention, or confiscation during future transits through the strait.
