Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reportedly gained the opportunity to study advanced U.S. military technologies following the seizure of a U.S. unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) in the Strait of Hormuz.

Sea-news.az reports citing the Azad Iran Telegram channel, that the seized underwater drone is equipped with a modern suite of sensors designed to gather and transmit operational data to command centers, along with environmental monitoring systems and high-precision imaging cameras.

According to sources, studying the technical capabilities of the device could allow Iran to acquire additional insights into the technologies utilized by the U.S. in underwater systems.

It is also noted that the acquired data could potentially be used in reverse-engineering efforts to accelerate the development of next-generation unmanned underwater vehicles in the future.

It should be noted that there is currently no information confirming these claims from independent sources.
