The wreckage of the vessel that suffered a fatal accident off the coast of Northern Cyprus has been successfully located.
Sea-news.az reports that the announcement was made by the country’s President, Tufan Erhürman. According to the official statement, the remains of the ship were discovered at a depth of 550 meters on the seabed.
To recap, the incident occurred on August 30 near the coast of Girne (Kyrenia) in Northern Cyprus, prompting extensive search and survey operations in the area.
