The Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation has organized a tournament featuring SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding).
Sea-news.az reports that the “Baku SUP Tournament” was jointly organized by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department, the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation (ASWF), and the “Windsurfing Baku” club. Held in Baku at Shikhov Beach, opposite the Velopark area, the competition featured three distinct categories: men, women, and children.
Amid an engaging and competitive atmosphere, the winners were awarded diplomas and medals. They also received complimentary passes for a one-day SUP and kayaking training session.
The primary objectives of the tournament are to promote the SUP sport more widely among youth, increase interest in this field, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
