The overhaul of the dry cargo ship Uzeyir Hajibeyli, belonging to the Marine Transport Fleet of “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping” CJSC (ASCO)—one of the companies under AZCON Holding—has been completed.
Sea-news.az reports citing ASCO, that the main and auxiliary engines as well as mechanisms (pumps) of the ship were repaired at the “Zigh” Ship Repair and Construction Yard. At the same time, pipe installation, electrical installation, automation, and hull welding works were carried out on the vessel.
In addition, the underwater and above-water parts of the ship were thoroughly cleaned with abrasive sand and painted, and the living and service quarters were renovated to meet modern standards.
