President Ilham Aliyevs official visit to Germany is an important event demonstrating the successes of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy and the creation of new opportunities in cooperation with Europe.
According to sea-news.az that member of the Milli Majlis Soltan Mammadov expressed these views. The MP stated that the visit further strengthens our country’s position as a reliable partner in the international arena.
S. Mammadov emphasized that the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy security, green energy, transport-logistics, and investment meets the interests of both sides. In particular, Azerbaijan’s contribution to Europe’s energy security and its role in the development of the Middle Corridor increase the geostrategic significance of our country.
The MP added that sustainable peace in the South Caucasus is possible only on the basis of the principles of international law and respect for the territorial integrity of states. This visit lays the foundation for a new stage in Azerbaijan-Germany relations.
