Ukraine has launched long-range drone strikes on Russian vessels and oil infrastructure located in the Caspian Sea.
According to sea-news.az that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the targeted vessels were involved in the transportation of military cargo from Iran.
The Security Service of Ukraine confirmed that the Filanovsky oil production platform in the Caspian Sea, the sanctioned dry cargo ships “Port Olya 2” and “Begey”, as well as a “Molniya”-class missile boat, were hit.
Zelenskyy also noted that strikes were carried out against a military enterprise in the city of Kirov located 1,200 kilometers from the border, the Tyumen oil refinery, and military facilities in Rostov. It should be remembered that these attacks were carried out in response to Russia’s strikes on Ukrainian ports.
