A dry cargo ship named “Mv Reyhan Sari”, sailing under the Turkish flag in the Black Sea, has been subjected to a drone attack.
According to sea-news.az that the coal-laden vessel was targeted while en route from Russia’s Port of Taman to Turkey’s Port of Trabzon.
The ship’s owner, “T&O Shipping Co. Ltd.”, stated that as a result of the incident, one of the crew members was killed and two sailors were injured. The injured were immediately evacuated to the shore by helicopter.
The vessel, which was damaged during the attack, managed to reach the Port of Samsun under its own power.
