Azerbaijan and Germany have agreed to increase cooperation on issues of global and regional significance, such as the sustainable management of water resources.
According to sea-news.az that this is stated in the Joint Declaration on the Strategic Agenda for Bilateral Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Republic of Germany, signed in Berlin on July 21.
According to the document, the two countries envision the promotion of bilateral trade and investment opportunities through mechanisms such as Economic and Trade Cooperation, the continuation of the activities of the high-level German-Azerbaijani Working Group on Trade and Investment as a mechanism to promote bilateral economic relations, as well as utilizing the full potential of cooperation in areas such as agriculture, sustainable economic development, green energy, green and low-carbon hydrogen, energy efficiency, connectivity and infrastructure, energy flows including gas, climate action, and environmental protection.
