A fire has broken out on a vessel off the coast of Oman, near the Strait of Hormuz.
According to sea-news.az that this was announced by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
The incident was recorded approximately 8 nautical miles northwest of the Omani settlement of Kumzar. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and an investigation is underway.
The center has advised vessels transiting the area to exercise caution and to report any suspicious activity immediately.
