A container ship has been damaged 16 km east of the Omani coast, after which a fire broke out on board.
According to sea-news.az that the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) under the British Royal Navy has provided information regarding the incident.
“UKMTO has received a report of an incident 16 km east of Oman. Military authorities have reported damage to the aft section of a container ship, which subsequently resulted in a fire on board,” the center stated in its announcement.
