The U.S. military has conducted new strikes against Iran, targeting 90 objectives.
According to sea-news.az that the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released a statement regarding the operation.
The CENTCOM statement reads: “CENTCOM forces have conducted an additional strike against Iran, aimed at further degrading Iran’s ability to attack commercial vessels and innocent civilian mariners in the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. forces struck approximately 90 Iranian military targets.”
The command identified the targeted facilities as including air defense systems, coastal surveillance systems, missile and drone storage sites, and military logistics infrastructure.
Following the new U.S. strikes, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened due to Washington’s threats, but only after Tehran’s conditions are met. He emphasized that U.S. threats and broken promises are no longer without consequences.
