At least four oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) tankers have abandoned their planned routes and diverted away from the Strait of Hormuz.
According to sea-news.az that this decision follows reports of damage to oil and gas tankers near the strait, as well as widespread information regarding attacks on commercial vessels.
Following these incidents, maritime security agencies have raised the threat level for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to “critical.”
