The oil tanker Yasa Polaris, chartered by the U.S. company Chevron, has been targeted by a drone attack in the Black Sea.

According to the information, the drone strike occurred as the vessel was approaching the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) oil loading terminal in the Novorossiysk area.

It is reported that the vessel’s crew remained unharmed, and the export of Kazakh oil has not been halted.

Tengizchevroil, which is majority-owned by the U.S. company Chevron, acts as one of the primary exporters of CPC Blend crude oil. This oil is primarily produced at the Tengiz field in Kazakhstan. The vessel is operated by the Turkish-registered Yasa Holding.
