A Saudi-flagged oil tanker has been damaged following a collision with another vessel near the coast of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the agency, the oil tanker collided with another tanker carrying liquefied natural gas (LNG). The details of the incident have not yet been disclosed, and Saudi Arabian officials have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
