Admiral Ali Ozmaii has been appointed as the new Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy.
According to sea-news.az citing Iranian media, the Tasnim news agency reported that in his first statement, the new commander warned the United States and Israel that “revenge will be taken soon” for the death of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The Admiral emphasized that the Iranian armed forces will continue to follow the path set by Ali Khamenei.
Ali Ozmaii replaces Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, who was killed during U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran in March 2026.
It is worth noting that on February 28, the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran, conducting airstrikes on several of the country’s cities. Ali Khamenei was killed as a result of these strikes.
