According to sea-news.az citing FOX News, the reason for this potential closure is the sighting of sharks near the shoreline. Several sharks were spotted in the vicinity of the city’s largest beach on July 2.
It should be noted that the air temperature in New York has risen to 38°C (approximately 100°F) in recent days. Local authorities have ordered the opening of cooling centers throughout the city to assist residents.
