Commercial vessels continue to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, according to sea-news.az a statement issued by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

The command also confirmed that no U.S. vessels have been struck in the Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier, Irans Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters reportedly announced that, following renewed U.S. attacks, the Strait of Hormuz had been closed to all types of vessels.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints, and any disruption or conflicting claims regarding its status are being closely monitored due to their potential impact on global energy transportation and shipping routes.
