Today marks the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev — the founder and architect of modern independent Azerbaijan and a world-renowned political figure.
On this occasion, the staff of the State Maritime and Port Agency visited the monument of the Great Leader at the Alley of Honor. The memory of the National Leader was honored with deep respect, and flowers were laid at the monument.
The prominent statesman devoted his life to his people and to the strengthening and development of Azerbaijan.
The rich statehood school established by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is founded on such supreme values as preserving independence, serving the Motherland, the people, and the state with loyalty, and being ready to sacrifice even one’s life for this cause.
