The next block train sent from Xi’an, China was delivered to the Port of Baku last night. Consisting of 55 units of 40-foot containers, the block train contained passenger cars, plastic products, optical cables, fabric and other non-food products.

The cargo intended for import and delivered from Kazakhstan’s Port of Aktau by “Berkut” feeder ship (container carrier) was promptly unloaded in the Port of Baku, loaded into wagons and sent to its destination.

It should be noted that several block trains formed in China are planned to be imported and transported to the west through Azerbaijan in the near future.
