Offshore Construction Supervisor – Field Team Leader
About The Role
PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for an Offshore Construction Supervisor FTL to join our progressive Construction team based in Baku on a full time, long term basis. Responsible for the supervision, coordination and management of all construction projects offshore to include but not limited to: Structural, Piping, HVAC, Hydraulics, (E&I) Electrical and Instrumentation, Rigging and Scaffolding. The OCS shall demonstrate a strong safety leadership of the projects relating to the facility assigned to them, and actively manage each scope to deliver in a safe and timely manner. The OCS shall lead and manage all relevant personnel to ensure all interested parties are kept informed of progress, issues and plans, including SHE Advisor and Planners (onshore & offshore). Please note only Azerbaijani nationals can be considered for this position.

Show clear strong leadership by demonstrating a high level of personal safety commitmentCommunicate clearly the safety expectations of all individualsPromote and encourage a culture to STOP the job if there are any safety concerns or doubtsEnsure unsafe activities are challengedManage and lead site safety meetings, tool box talks and pre-shift briefsDemonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by exampleDemonstrate and promote PD&MS values, GENES and lead by exampleAdherence to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties, in particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe design, provision and use of tools, equipment and systemsParticipate in Construction Campaign Risk assessmentsReview, challenge and implementation of construction packages of workAttendance and participation at onshore design / constructability reviews as requiredReview, inspect and (where required) release offshore construction materials, plant and equipmentInspection and release of project work scope to client’s representativesEnsure all materials required for offshore installation are checked and verified for completenessIdentify and call off the required Tools, Plant, Equipment and Consumables for offshore construction campaigns.Conduct and record the relevant pre-mobilisation task specific brief with 3rd party trade’s personnel and vendors.Complete, record and submit PD&MS mobilisation forms and identify any project campaign additional training needs over and above the minimum PD&MS and client’s competency standardsInspection and release of project work scope to client’s representatives
