Eugene Seah: Use of green energy-powered equipment in Port of Baku is on agenda

The use of electrical and other “green” energy-powered equipment in the second phase of the Baku International Sea Trade Port is on the agenda, Chief Operating Officer Eugene Seah told Report.

According to him, it is planned to use technologically efficient innovations in the second phase: “Currently, the cranes are powered by electricity. In the near future, forklift trucks, container loaders, and a number of other equipment are expected to be powered by electricity. This will make a “green” contribution to efforts to reduce carbon in the atmosphere.”
