Position: Planning Engineer
About The Role
PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Planning Engineer to join our progressive project controls team based in Baku on a full time, long-term basis. The Planning Engineer is required to provide project planning and control support to Projects and other corporate functions. Please note only Azerbaijani nationals can be considered for this position.
Duties:
Preparation and maintenance of Company project plan/schedule
Attend Kick Off Meetings and gather data to determine scheduling constraints
Ensure project baselines are set and agreed by all stakeholders
Interface with and input to, Client project plan
Liaison and interface with Client Representatives
Manage issues of project planning
Data retrieval and review pursuant to project planning status
Undertake general project related activities as requested from time to time
Identify opportunities to improve project schedules
Provide comprehensive client report
Ensure PD&MS reporting tools are up to date and accurate
Prepare, update and issue project plans as directed by Company PRP
Liaise with Commercial Department to analyse productivity in terms of man hours and cost
Encourage, motivate and assist junior members of the team
Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner
About You
This position would be well suited to an individual with existing project planning experience.
Candidates must have:
3+ years of relevant experience in Project Controls / Planning
Efficient user of Primavera P6
Strong verbal/written English language skills
Strong communication skills
