Position: Estimator
About The RolePD&MS Group now have a great opportunity for an Estimator to join our progressive project services team based in Baku on a full time, long term contract basis. Role is required to provide experienced project and contract estimating professional service, capable of developing estimates for all types and scales of projects.Key duties:Provide estimating services to the project / contract for all levels of estimate as requiredFulfil the role of Estimator undertaking all estimating tasks with interface to costs, commercial and schedule functionsUnderstand the corporate and contract specific estimating procedures and carry out all work in accordance with theseIn conjunction with the Senior Estimator, responsible for the preparation of estimates from conceptual through order of magnitudeEstimates for identified projects in preparation of consistent estimates with scope definition and in accordance with company procedures and guidelinesDeliver estimates in a safe, timely and cost effective manner in line with contractual requirements to the satisfaction of company and customerMaintain proper cost estimate method and documentationIdentify cost estimate deliverablesTake part in and liaise with risk analysis team as requiredWhen required, attendance at project meetings to answer queries on estimatingLiaise with Project Teams to ensure the necessary information is made available to prepare the required estimatesLiaise with Procurement and Construction Teams in order to obtain accurate estimates for materials and Subcontract servicesAssist with the development, implementation and evaluation of methods for improving estimating techniquesEnsure the change control process is adhered toResponsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely mannerAdherence to the company integrated management systemCompliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policiesDemonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by exampleAbout YouThis position would be well suited to an individual with existing estimating experience and is familiar with estimating software packages and databases.About UsOur Company delivers small, medium and large sized brownfield engineering and construction projects to both onshore and offshore facilities within the UKCS, and beyond.
