Job Purpose/Vəzifənin məqsədiProcurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the purchasing strategy, supervising teams of subordinate staff in purchasing, operations, and logistics, and ensuring all employees and processes meet the company’s standards and designations for work quality. Also strategizing and negotiating with vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses. A role model for ethical behavior and compliance with applicable law and policies

Job Responsibilities/Vəzifə öhdəlikləri:
Lead and manage competitive bids, RFQs, bid negotiations and vendor onboarding process. Lead the RFQ process for the selection of EP or EPC Contractors. Monitor Main EPC Contractors which are assigned to important Capital Investment projects. Contribute to the weekly/monthly progress meetings of EPC contractors with the project team. Provide Leadership and coaching to the team, by developing capability, facilitate engagement, and supporting progression. Coordinate disciplines activities and control forecast against scheduled lead times. Develop and maintain a high-performance culture in the function, resulting in continued success meeting functional KPIs/metrics to internal and external stakeholders. Manages overall supplier performance – including, acting as an escalation point in the event of non-performance. Work with materials management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the demand of internal orders. Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs. Assist procurement director with supplier performance, risk reports and mitigation actions. Assist procurement director on the recruitment process Implementing and maintaining a multifunctional category management approach. To be role model for ethical behavior and compliance with applicable law and policies.  
Diploma in Engineering or related technical field. Degree in a commercial/business discipline such as MBA would be desirable.
  Experience Requirements/Təcrübə Tələbləri: Experience in the oil and gas, refineries and petrochemical industry, minimum 15 years is essential. Experience in RFQ process of both Material Supply and Construction Subcontracts EPC and PMC Project experience on a global basis, within reputable worldwide contractors’/clients’ organizations. Construction Subcontract Management experience with local and international contractors. Experience in recruitment, selection, and development of new talents. Previous experience in managing diverse teams with international members.In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms skills.Experience in Construction Projects Logistics would be desirable.
