Members of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) visited the Port of Baku. While attending the meeting, representatives of the committee for Turkey, Kazakhstan, Iran, Uzbekistan and Georgia and several members of the Transit Coordination Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan were informed about the infrastructure projects, technical capabilities, achieved results and cargo handling capacity of the Port of Baku.
At the same time, the delegation was informed about the implemented and planned large-scale projects of Port of Baku such as the first Green Port of the region, Sustainable Development Goals. At the end of meeting, questions of the experts were answered.
Also, the guests got acquainted with the terminals and work process of the port in the ground.
