The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Mr. Abdulla Aripov visited the Port of Baku

A delegation led by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan visited the Port of Baku in order to increase cooperation between the two countries, strengthen trade opportunities in the Middle Corridor and identify new potentials. The delegation, which was also represented by the heads of the transport, energy, investment and trade sectors, got acquainted with the technical capabilities, the volume of cargo handling and the working principles of the terminals. During the visit, the guests were informed about the infrastructure projects under construction in the Port of Baku and planned to be implemented in the near future, and their questions were answered.

It should be noted that from 2018 to the second quarter of 2023, 18,000 TEU containers, 22,000 wagons and more than 23,000 wheeled vehicle were transported in both directions between the Port of Baku and Uzbekistan.
