Position: QA/QC Inspector
About The Role
PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a QA/QC Inspector to join our progressive QHSE team based in Baku. Position will report to the QA/QC Manager. This is a 3 months fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
Key duties:
Conduct Vendor QC Inspections / Audits and site visits both on and offshore
Liaise with Client and 3rd Party Inspectors
Check and approve equipment and fabrication pack / data dossiers
Control and coordinate QA of the QC Inspection i.e. SIR’s, defects register, punchlist sign off etc
WPS selection for PD&MS construction works
Coordination of third party inspectors to satisfy quality plan requirements
Monitor and measure vendor quality performance, conduct analysis and report trends
Compile and issue QA/QC Reports
Liaise with Procurement and Materials department to ascertain Inspection schedules
Assist with the development, management and continued improvement of QC system in alignment with
Attending quality meetings
Comply with the Company Quality and Health and Safety Policies
Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner
Adherence to the company integrated management system
Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
Demonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example
Ensure unsafe activities are challenged
Adherence to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties, in particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe design, provision and use of tools, equipment and systems
Demonstrate and promote PD&MS values and lead by example
About You

This position would be well suited to an individual with existing QA/QC experience. The successful candidate would ideally have the following skills and attributes:
Minimum 10 years of experience preferably in Oil and Gas industry
CSWIP 3.1 and ISO 9001 qualified
Material inspection experience
Very good attention to detail / highly observant
Logical, methodical approach to work
Good numerical skills
Good communication and reporting skills
Advocate for promoting process improvement
Acutely aware of safety management
Proactive in managing process
Supports innovation.
