Position title: Construction Team Lead
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-performance team to facilitate safe and successful delivery of the offshore execution.
- Manage the operational reviews of subsea construction vessel and project subsea installation scope as well as interfaces among various project
- Provide direction, motivation and leadership to both internal staff and external contractors
- Responsible for ensuring the installation contractor delivers a competent organization and a high standard of resources to successfully execute the work
- Responsible for managing contractor project execution performance and scope delivery
- Manage the plan and facilities for in-country mobilization
- Promote, demonstrate and ensure compliance with all appropriate elements of the Operating Management System (OMS), including Risk Management and Management of Change
- Maintain close contact with the company Construction Management network to ensure relevant lessons and practices are evaluated for applicability to a project and implemented as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Educated to Degree Level or technical school diploma
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
- 15 years’ experience in similar onshore and offshore management roles of complex off-shore projects
- Proven capability of building and leading successful teams
- Experience with design safety of offshore installations
- Exhibits understanding of construction practices and the latest international standards that assure integrity of build and construction quality
- Proactively demonstrates sophisticated decision-making and leadership skills needed to address complex stakeholder groups and issues associated with Major Projects
- A high level of proven communication, interpersonal and people management skills
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Self-motivated.
- Computer literate.
