Since the beginning of 2023, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has shipped 27.1 million tons of oil from the sea terminal, the consortium said following the meeting of the Board of Directors of CPC-R JSC, Report informs via TASS.
“As of May 30, 2023, the consortium transshipped about 27.1 million tons of oil through the sea terminal, having dispatched 249 tankers,” the message says.
The consortium also said it began work on May 29 to replace hoses, compensators and offshore breakaway joints expiring in 2023 on the third tanker mooring unit.
In addition, the CPC executives reported to the shareholders on the search for alternative manufacturers and suppliers for 125 items of foreign-made equipment, the supply of which has ceased. “At the moment, Russian manufacturers have been found for 121 alternative items,” the CPC says.
