Turkmen exports to Azerbaijan totaled $190 million in January-March 2023.
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan surged 5.4 times from January to March 2023 ($38.92 million) to $211.88 million compared to the same period last year, Trend news agency reported citing the statistics data of Azerbaijan’s Customs Committee.
According to the statistics, Turkmenistan ranked 15th in trade turnover with Azerbaijan during the reporting period.
Turkmen exports to Azerbaijan totaled $190 million during the reporting period, which is 6.3 times more than the same period in 2022 ($30.14 million). Meanwhile, Turkmenistan’s share in total Azerbaijani imports in January-March 2023 also increased. The imports surged 4.71 percent, up from 1.03 percent in the first three months of 2022.
Turkmenistan’s share in overall Azerbaijani exports was 0.28 percent during this period, compared to 0.11 percent in the first three months of 2022.
