The carrying capacity of the ships shown in the photos varied from 500 to 800 tons, and the speed was 5-6 knots. Due to the small hatch covers of these dry cargo ships, manual labor was used in the process of shipment. These ships mainly transported dried fruits, fabrics, animal skins, henna, rice, and other similar cargoes.
