Position Name: Development Director
Reports to: Deputy CEO
Job Requirements:
- Master or BSc Honors level.
- More than 15 years of relevant experience
- Experience from international projects, preferably experience from early phase operations
- Experience from Joint Ventures site construction and commissioning follow up
- Proven strong leadership skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to work in a multicultural environment and demonstrate respect for local norms and customs of behavior
- Act as a role model for our values, safety and security expectations
- Experience in driving change processes
- Proficiency in English
Responsiblities:
The main responsibilities and deliveries are, but not limited to:
- Lead the Project Management Team (PMT) and accept full accountability for performance and deliveries during design-, and execution phase up to start of production
- Take ownership of the overall value chain; plan, manage and realize the business case in accordance with targets, technical integrity standards, SSU/HSE assurance, governing documentation, and applicable Azerbaijani legislation
- Follow-up and report on project activities and take corrective actions
- Drive cross functional integration of all business case deliverables (Subsurface, D&W, Facilities, Operations, Value chain to market and Commercial)
- Empower people and promote collaboration and knowledge transfer across the team and the Karabagh Joint Operating Company
- Proactively build trusted relationships and represent the Karabagh Joint Operating Company internally and with external stakeholders
- Ensure always safe, secure and carbon efficient delivery
- Promote the “zero” accident and incident philosophy both internally in the Joint Operating Company and externally towards Contractors and Suppliers
- Ensure that risks and opportunities are identified, mitigated and communicated at all levels
- Capture synergies and best practices, and ensure leassons learned transfer
- Contribute to the improvement agenda and digitalization across functions
- Collaborate across the functions in establishing a Joint Operating Company and secure an inclusive working environment
- Drive safety awareness and build a culture for continuous improvement within the Karabagh Joint Operating Company and contractor organizations
