The summer internship program for students of the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy of ASCO has started.
At the first stage, the students of Marine Navigation Engineering, Engineering of Exploitation of Ship Energetic Installations, Electrical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering specialties will undergo their internship program.
As in previous years, in 2021, students will undergo internships on the ships of the ASCO Transportation Fleet and the Offshore Fleet, as well as at the “Zigh” Ship Repair and Construction Yard and “Bibiheybat” Ship Repair Yard.
A group of students will undertake an internship in other shipping companies operating in the country.
The internship program for students of the Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Faculty will begin on 6 July. 46 students enrolled in this specialty will undergo an internship at the Baku Shipyard.
The main goal of the summer internship program is to let students enrich theoretical knowledge, which they gained during a year, through practice.
At the end of the internship, the practical knowledge of students will be evaluated, and a report on the result of the internship program will be conducted.
