The Turkmen and Kazakh officials agreed on mutual visits of the countries’ delegations to hold negotiations on specific projects of cooperation in economic sphere.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Thursday in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin considered specific ways and forms of expanding bilateral trade relations.
During the phone talks, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in trade-economic and humanitarian fields, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in its press release.
The officials also paid special attention to the implementation of the agreements reached by the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan on further strengthening of partnership between the two states in a wide range of areas.
The parties also agreed on mutual visits of delegations of the two countries to hold negotiations on specific projects of Turkmen-Kazakh cooperation in the economic sphere.
At the end of the telephone conversation, the government officials stressed the importance of contacts at the intergovernmental level and expressed their readiness to continue them on a regular basis.
