Job Title:Plant Protection Lead
Qualification
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the crude oil refining or petrochemical industry
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in fire prevention and firefighting.
- Has a risk-based approach
- Having strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities
- Demonstrated experience to lead projects and manage resources
- Ability to effectively work and communicate at all levels
- Familiar with the international standards and regulations on Fire Safety
- Is in knowledge level on firefighting/extinguishing systems and fire classification and fighting methods
- Good level in both written and verbal English
- Good level of MS Office and reporting
Job Description
- Conducting Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Hazard Analysis, and Quantitative Risk Assessment or Building Risk Assessments for the Refinery.
- Mentoring to the junior staff
- Consulting with the designer on fire safety issues
- Managing the installation of fire safety devices
- Performing Fire prevention investigations and Incident investigations and facilitating RCAs
- Conducting Fire prevention training.
- Supporting HSE Manager on Fire safety issues
- Inspecting the existing systems and look for deficiencies and/or shortfalls on proactive and reactive barriers.
- Suggesting leading and lagging KPIs about Fire safety and managing accordingly.
- Communicating with the governmental fire department and act as a liaison between them and the refinery on fire cases.
- Leading the fire team if necessary.
