Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

JOB OBJECTIVE

• To provide expertise in managing International subcontractors within specific disciplines to ensure timely completion of workscopes including site visits to their facilities
• To assist in managing delivery of the project in line with the agreed contract requirements
• To provide a cost effective and timely execution of the Work scope deliverables in line with the sched-ule

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  •  Provide input to the established Project Execution Plan to include definition on project objectives and strategies
  •  To provide expertise dealing with International subcontractors to ensure they deliver in line with the Plan
  •  Visit International subcontractors facilities to provide updates and timely delivery of materials and products
  •  To act as a liaison between the International Subcontractors and Site Project Team
  •  Input into the Risk register ensuring regular reviews are carried out and information distributed
  •  To maintain a close working relationship with the client throughout the project
  •  Provide input into the Level 3 Construction plan
  •  Monitor and Control Project performance against budget, schedule, quality and safety requirements
  •  Study and assess Engineering / Construction Drgs, specifications and instructions
  •  Identification of change in the scope of work ensuring change requests are managed and controlled
  •  Constantly review progress, highlight pinch points and work resolutions ensuring schedule is maintained
  •  Managing multi- discipline teams in the delivery of the Project scope through regular progress meetings and by facilitating issues which require resolution
  •  Support the Construction Management Team
  •  Deputise for the Construction Manager

 Participate & Contribute to ATA Emergency Response Process and Procedures
 Participate & Contribute in all HSE Campaigns, initiatives and safety meetings, as required
 Provide support to the Project Services Team
 Participate and contribute in Project personnel development programs.

LEVEL OF INFLUENCE & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY

As delegated by Construction Manager in accordance with Competency Assessment.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications:
 NVQ Level 3 or equivilant in discipline

Minimum Experience:
 10 years experienced in a Structural lead role with a proven technical background
 Previous topsides build experience

Job-Specific Skills:
 Determination to achieve project & personal objectives and goals
 Strong Safety Leadership Qualaties
 To produce required data input into the project reporting system using the base lined level 3 schedule and highlight potential problems
 To be able to demonstrate methodical and logical steps in managing multiple work fronts
 Self-motivated.

 Understand the Mechanical Completion Process (GOC Pro) and all associated documentation
