| Kuzey Star Shipyard confirmed participation in the 16th International specialized exhibition and conference on civil shipbuilding, shipping, port activities, ocean and shelf development “NEVA 2021”, which will be held in St. Petersburg from 21 to 24 September 2021 with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Maritime Board under the Government of the Russian Federation, industry unions and associations. |
Kuzey Star Shipyard is the only shipbuilding and ship repair company in Turkey that is certified by the Maritime Register of Shipping. The production facilities include two shipyards – in Tuzla and Yalova.
“NEVA-International”
Kuzey Star Tuzla carries out repairs, maintenance and shipbuilding works. There are two tidal pools and three inclined slipways on the territory. Steel, pipe, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and valve workshops are also equipped. The plant’s capacity is sufficient for the simultaneous carrying out of ship repair work and maintenance of 17 ships in the dock, as well as the construction of three new ships on the slipways and one more yacht.The Yalova plant has one inclined slipway, a blasting and painting shop and a design department. There is an opportunity to work with all organizations – members of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).Kuzey Star Shipyard successfully implements all types of construction projects and fulfills them on time. The company works with tankers, chemical, dry cargo, cargo and river vessels, is engaged in the modernization of passenger ships and cruise liners, as well as refurbishment of barges, yachts, river pleasure boats and floating restaurants. |
