Chevron, one of the largest energy companies in the United States and the world, is closing its office in Azerbaijan.
This was reported in the newspaper Vergilər of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
Creditors can file claims in Baku, Sabail district, 11 Rasul Rza Street, apartments 28, 29, 30 within 2 months.
As of April of this year, Chevron owned 9.57% of shares in the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) project and 8.9% of shares of Azerbaijan’s main export pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC). All shares in the projects were sold to the Hungarian company MOL.
