During January-June of this year, Azerbaijan imported from the USA 4 879 units of passenger cars the total value of which makes up $ 42,92 mln., according to the calculations conducted by APA-Economics on the basis of the indicators presented by the State Statistics Committee.
This is 1 965 units or 67,4% more in quantitative terms or by 47,7% more in terms of value compared with the same period of the last year.
The greatest number of vehicles with internal combustion engines (with the volume of 1 500-3 000 cubic centimeters) were imported to Azerbaijan from the USA. 1 557 units of vehicles with internal combustion engines worth $21 mln. were brought into the country in the reporting period. And this is 83 units or 5,1% more in quantitative terms or 14,2% more in terms of value in annual comparison.
