Train with 82 containers moving via BTK arrives in Baku

The 940-meter train with 82 containers, which carry Turkish products, has arrived in Baku. The loads on the train are considered for Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, Report informs citing ADY Container.

The last destination of the 20 containers is Azerbaijan. 30 out of the containers will be delivered to Turkmenbashi port from Alat port, 24 to Aktau port, and 8 to Kuryk port.

This is the longest train moving via the BTK. The train is expected to move from Turkey to Uzbekistan within 9 days.

The operator of transportation through Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan is ADY Container.

BTK was launched on October 30, 2017. The railway line simplifies the access of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan to Europe and world markets. The 504 km-part of the BTK, which is 846 km in length, passes through Azerbaijan, 263 km through Georgia, and 79 km through Turkey.
