Ports of Baku, Turkmenbashi, Aktau, and Kuryk cities in the Caspian Sea are planning to create a digital platform to facilitate the information exchange among themselves.
Report says, citing Turkmen media, that the issue was discussed at a meeting within OSCE’s project on green ports development in the Caspian Sea. The event, held in the city of Turkmenbashi on January 28-29, was dedicated to the successful promotion and strengthening of friendly relations in the Caspian Sea.
The sides discussed future steps on the application of energy effectiveness and simplification of trade procedures in the port operations, as well as the role of sustainable trade and detailing as a tool in simplifying business in the Caspian region.
