ABS conducted a seminar to Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC and Caspian Marine Servises (CMS) – ASCO’s alliance partner. The seminar topic was: “Latest Offshore Industry Developments”. The ABS seminar speaker names were:
- Mark McGrath – ABS CLO and Head of Global ABS Academies ABS Houston office, USA.
- Christian Schack – ABS Europe, Business Development Director.
- Seyfettin Tatli – ABS Istanbul, Business Development Manager.
- Ryan Salamati – ABS Baku, Principal Surveyor.
Mark McGrath from ABS Houston office talked first on how modern training techniques can help seminar participants and maritime professionals understand better the offshore industry requirements and also marine transport ship mandatory rules and regulations.
Ryan Salamati and Seyfettin Tatli continued the ABS seminar covering the following topics:
- Market trends for the offshore industry
- Technical challenges and solutions
- Sustainability and the offshore industry trends
- Interaction with the Classification Society
- ABS services for the offshore industry.
During the two-hour interactive seminar, the participants could also share their opinion and receive answers to their questions.
