Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has issued warning about weather in Azerbaijan.
National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry told Report that the weather is expected to be unstable and rainy at intervals from October 31 to November 4, after prolonged anomalous warm weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula. Rain is expected to intensify in some places at night and in the morning. Strong north-west wind will blow on October 31 and November 2. The air temperature will gradually drop by 5-8 degrees in comparison with the previous days.
Starting from northern and western regions of Azerbaijan, lightning and intermittent rain are expected in the morning from October 31 to the afternoon of November 3. Showers are predicted mostly in northern and eastern regions of Azerbaijan, snow may fall in mountainous areas. West wind will blow, it will intensify at times in some places. Water level will increase in rivers and short-term floods may occur in some mountain rivers.
