Greece will speed up the return of illegal migrants to Turkey.
Report informs citing TASS that the statement came from Greek Prime Minister Kiriakos Mitsotakis following the meeting with German chancellor Angela Merkel.
He said the acceleration of illegal migrants’ return to Turkey in line with the EU-Ankara agreement is ‘needed to ensure humane conditions of refugees living in available camps’. These camps on the Greek islands are overfilled, and almost no illegal migrants return to Turkey.
