First cruise on Caspian Sea postponed for year

The first cruise on the Caspian Sea “Treasures of the East”, which had to be held in the summer of 2019, was postponed, said the statement by the Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation, Report informs citing Today.kz website.

The cruise is planned to be held in Peter the Great motor ship. The ship will be put into use with at least one-year delay.

‘Demand for cruise visits in the Caspian Sea is high. We plan to carry out several trips in the Caspian Sea by the autumn of 2020. We want to send the motor ship to Sochi in the winter. It will probably operate as a floating hotel’, Press Secretary of Mosturflot Alexander Filimonov said.

The moor ship is designed for 310 passengers who will travel in comfortable 155 cabins with balconies and 12 luxury cabins.
