JOB TITLE: Electronic Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Maintain electronic equipment on the unit such that operation plan goals are met for electronic downtime, repair and maintenance.
• Proper maintenance for all electronic system and PLC’S in accordance to Company’s preventative maintenance program.
• Trouble shoot and repair faulty electronic systems including, but not limited to, dynamic positioning system, ballast control system, communication and data acquisition systems, computers and navigational equipment.
• Maintain area of work, tools and electrical and electronic equipment in a clean and orderly manner, free of hazards.
• Observe all Flag State, Classification Society and local authority rules and regulations pertaining to his area of responsibility.
• Requests, through the supervisor, needed supplies and parts to maintain adequate inventory in area of responsibility.
• Maintain good working relationships with Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), Supervisor, department heads and crew.
• Review all operational and technical bulletins and implement all directives as required.
• Ensures that all documentation pertaining to the electronic equipment, including installation and equipment drawings, is maintained and updated, as required, to reflect current status and conditions.
• Possess current experience as Electronic Technician within offshore drilling, marine, or other industrial operations. Have extensive experience in electronic maintenance and repair. It is preferable that the individual has some experience, and an understanding of, offshore drilling procedures. It is also preferable if he has some previous dynamic positioning systems experience.
• Pass the Competency assessment required for this position before (promoted) or during the probation period (newly hired)

JOB TITLE: Toolpusher

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Supervises and coordinates all the drilling activity on the rig to include objectives established by rig manager.
• Planning, scheduling, problem solving, conducting inspections and operational meetings, interacting with other rig department heads.
• Manages and directs drillings operation on board the rig in accordance to Company QMS
• Operates the drilling unit and drilling items/equipment, in safe & efficient manner to achieve the safety, down time, budget goals.
• Ensures that adequate level of inventory for the equipment are maintained in accordance to the company RMS/QMS.
• Supervise and conduct all meetings & emergency drills with rig crews and direct the crews to the required level of quality of service, safety of all personnel.
• Inspect drilling unit and ensure compliance with all regulatory body requirements.
• Prepare & maintain and submit all required reports, statistics & paperwork in a neat, timely manner.
• Review all Operational/Technical Bulletins and implement all directives as required.
• Supervises/conducts regular performance evaluations of personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIECE:
• High school diploma/higher or equivalent. Work experience and demonstrated ability or oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
• 5-7 year experience as a Toolpusher on floater or jack-up rigs, as applicable.
• Possess current Well Control (Supervisory Level) certificate.
